HURON’S A BOUNTIFUL PLACE IN SUMMER
Summer in Huron County is so bountiful it’s hard to take it all in.
There’s the bounty of the land, or course, and Huron County produces more food than any other in Ontario, indeed more than any of the Atlantic provinces. From asparagus in the spring to apples in the fall you can taste Huron’s plenty at roadside and farmers’ markets.
But there plenty more plenty in Huron — like miles of sandy beaches along Lake Huron from Grand Bend in the south to Amberley and Point Clark in the north.
There are plenty of fairs, festivals and carnivals in nearly every town, village and hamlet along the shore and inland.
There’s a bounty of concerts and art shows and theatre productions to see.
Now’s the time to make your plans to visit Huron County during the summer and we hope we can help make your visit easier with the information we can provide.
